Filmmaker Karan Johar got into a poetic mood and penned his thoughts about actor Ranveer Singh. As the actor turned 40 today, Karan sang praises of the versatile star. From Ranveer`s buoyant personality to his fashion prowess to being the reason behind Deepika Padukone’s smile, Karan perfectly captured the essence of Ranveer Singh.

In his caption singing praise for Ranveer, Karan wrote:
Buoyant spirit, blazing bright,
A comet streaking through the night,
In every step, a thunderous cheer,
Ranveer walks, the world draws near.
A fashionista bold and grand,
Silken suits and sequins stand,
A canvas dressed in dreams and flair,
Each outfit roars, “He doesn’t care!”
Yet deeper still this man unfolds,
A heart of gold within he holds,
A larger-than-life, flamboyant flame,
But kind and warm beyond the fame.
His laughter rolls like summer skies,
A mimic’s art behind his eyes ,

When Karan Johar chose Ranveer for his biopic
Back in 2022, during an interaction on a live show on Roposo, the director was asked who could portray him in his biopic. “I think Ranveer Singh. He is like a chameleon, and he will do his best.”
Karan Johar directed Ranveer in the film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, which was released in 2023. The film was a massive hit and earned Ranveer a lot of appreciation for his performance. Karan has also spoken highly of the actor ever since the two collaborated on the film, which also starred Alia Bhatt.
Ranveer Singh’s work front
The actor will next be seen in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. The first look of the film will be unveiled today. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the highly awaited project will also feature Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Yami Gautam, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal in prominent roles.
It is believed that Dhurandhar will tell the story of one of the country’s top spies, Ajit Doval, who went undercover in enemy territory to gather intelligence and prevent a major national crisis.
Over and above this, Ranveer has also been roped in as the lead for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. He will be seen sharing screen space with Kiara Advani in the third installment of the Don franchise.
