Recently, Priyanka met Arpita Khan Sharma, sister of superstar Salman Khan, in the USA. The two women have always shared a great bond — and now it seems their daughters are carrying that friendship forward.
Malti Marie`s new bestie
Priyanka recently shared an adorable video of her 3-year-old daughter Malti Marie playing with Arpita and Aayush Sharma`s daughter, Ayat Sharma. In the video, the two little girls can be seen walking hand-in-hand, completely unaware that they`re being recorded.
The actress posted the video on her Instagram Stories. It appears that Priyanka hosted Arpita and her daughter at her Los Angeles home. While Malti looked adorable in a blue T-shirt and white pants, Ayat looked cute in a multicolored printed dress. The little girls clearly had a great time together, as seen in the heartwarming clip. Sharing the video, Priyanka wrote, “So good seeing you Arpita Khan Sharma. Our girls are such besties.” Arpita re-shared the story and responded, “It’s always so lovely meeting you, and it was even lovelier spending the evening with Malti.”
Malti Marie: The showrunner at home
Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently revealed that her daughter is the “showrunner” of their household.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on a red carpet, she said, “She definitely runs our house. She is so fun, precocious, loves everything about life, joyous, curious, and kind. She makes every day so amazing.”
Earlier, Priyanka shared that Malti “insists” her name is Moana because she’s such a big fan of the Disney character. The actress described her daughter as a huge fan of princesses, especially the titular character from the 2016 movie Moana and its 2024 sequel.
While speaking on Good Morning America, Priyanka said, “She introduces herself as Malti Marie Moana Chopra Jonas. She insists she’s Moana. She insists it’s her name—like officially her name in school. She says, ‘I’m Malti Marie Moana.’”
According to femalefirst.co.uk, Priyanka added that Malti loves dressing up in her closet. “She loves coming into my closet, wearing my shoes, seeing my dresses. She was with us when we were getting dressed for the Met Gala, and she put on my gloves and my hat and said, ‘Mama and Gaga are going to a ball, just like Cinderella.’”
Priyanka’s husband, Nick Jonas, also revealed that Malti isn’t impressed by his fame — she just loves it when he plays Moana with her.
