Vacant Bengaluru development body sites: Slab-based penalties replace 10% levy

The Bangalore Development Authority has revised its penalty structure for delayed house construction under lease-cum-sale agreements. A new graded penalty, ranging from 2.5% to 10% based on site size, replaces the previous flat 10% levy. This change aims to bring proportionality and address concerns from site allottees regarding financial burdens.
