Developed plots are being handed over to Mihan project-affected persons in Nagpur district. Over 75% have received their plots. More than Rs100 crore has been paid to 2,048 individuals as compensation for promised employment. Land acquisition for the Mihan project began in 1997. Farmers were promised compensation, plots, and jobs.
