The TCP department has proposed converting over 11,900 sqm of green cover and agricultural land into settlement zones across four talukas. These proposals, which include significant conversions in Bardez, Ponda, Quepem, and Salcete, are now open for public objections. Final approvals for some plots are contingent on clearances from the forest department and other authorities.
