Maharashtra’s registration and stamps department is nearing its annual revenue target, collecting approximately 88.4% of its Rs63,500 crore goal by March 15. Property registrations have remained robust, matching last year’s volume, prompting calls from the real estate industry to maintain current ready reckoner rates. The department will also facilitate e-registrations for first-sale properties on Gudi Padwa.
