Kerala State Housing Board will reconstruct a faulty flat in Chottanikkara for Rs 2.27 crore after structural issues rendered it uninhabitable. The three-storeyed gypsum panel flat, built for 24 families, will be demolished and rebuilt with concrete. The decision follows a High Court directive after authorities failed to monitor construction, leading to families being relocated.
