Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of the Noida International Airport in Jewar on Saturday. Developed at an estimated cost of Rs 11,200 crore, the airport is designed as a multi-modal transport hub with an initial passenger handling capacity of 12 million per annum, expandable to 70 million.
