Trichy Corporation has approved a 4-acre site in Panjapur for a new construction and demolition waste recycling plant. This facility, a public-private partnership, will process 50 tonnes of debris daily, producing value-added materials like paver blocks and hollow bricks. The plant aims to curb illegal dumping and is expected to be operational by November 2026.
