Karnataka Lokayukta raided officials of the Slum Development Board and a private contractor in Belagavi for alleged large-scale irregularities and fake billing in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Investigations revealed collusion to generate fraudulent bills for non-existent houses, leading to the alleged misappropriation of Rs 23.3 crore.
