Akshay Kumar’s Welcome to the Jungle has crossed the R100 crore mark at the worldwide box office, emerging as one of the fastest films of the year to achieve the milestone. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the comedy has grossed R83.53 crore in India and R16.94 crore overseas, taking its global total to R100.46 crore. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the ensemble film also stars Raveena Tandon, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, and Tusshar Kapoor, among others.
A tough start

Actor Vikrant Massey has reflected on his difficult journey before finding success in Bollywood, revealing that he began working very early on in life to support his education and family. Speaking at a recent event, he recalled cleaning tables at a Mumbai coffee shop as a teenager. “I started working at the age of 16 to support my own education, to support my family financially,” he said. Vikrant added that he fulfilled his mother’s dream by buying his first home at 24, saying, “No matter what happens, at least you have a home to come back to.”
