Years after Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan’s divorce, Sussanne’s sister, Farah Khan Ali, has addressed one of the biggest rumours surrounding their separation. Calling the widely circulated claims of a Rs 400 crore alimony “completely false,” she also opened up about the former couple’s amicable relationship and mutual respect.

In an interview with Vickey Lalwani, jewellery designer and Sussanne’s sister Farah Khan Ali recalled how their separation left everyone shocked.
Farah said, “There was a lot of hue and cry. There were a lot of opinions that people had about their personal life, but I think they both handled it all beautifully. It was amicable.”
She added, “One thing I want to say on record is that there was never a Rs 400 crore alimony, and I feel sick to the bottom of my heart when I see people online saying that Rs 400 crore was paid and Sussanne got richer. I mean, that is such a lie.”
She further shared how their mother, Zarine Khan, taught her children to value relationships more than money.
“My dearest sister did not take anything. We come from a family and a mother who taught us that materialistic things are not important; relationships are more important. So, my sister did not take anything. That’s why today, the relationship she has with her ex-husband Hrithik and her ex-in-laws, Pinkie and Rakesh Roshan, is amazing. She is not a gold-digger. There was no alimony in this. It’s incorrect and completely false,” she said.
About Hrithik and Sussanne’s separation
Hrithik and Sussanne were childhood friends who married in December 2000, months after he made his debut with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. The couple has two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. They separated in 2013 and have since been co-parenting their children.
Today, years after the divorce, Sussanne is in a relationship with Arslan Goni, while Hrithik Roshan is dating Saba Azad. The estranged couple continue to share a cordial bond. Earlier this year, Hrithik and Sussanne travelled to Phuket, Thailand, with their respective partners, Saba Azad and Arslan Goni. Hrithik also stood by Sussanne’s family after her mother passed away. Meanwhile, Sussanne attended Hrithik’s brother Eshaan Roshan’s wedding.
