Ramayana’s Navratri song launch event cancelled
MLA Ashish Jaiswal confirmed that the event has been postponed on Instagram. He shared a video revealing that the event has been postponed. In the caption, Jaiswal wrote, “We would like to inform all of you that the grand interaction program with the entire team of the film ‘Ramayana’, which was to be organised at Ramtek on 11th October 2026, has been postponed due to some unavoidable reasons. Actor Ranbir Kapoor, actress Sai Pallavi and the cast of the film were to participate in this program. The purpose of this program was to highlight the importance of the land of Ramtek, which was sanctified by the touch of the feet of Lord Shri Ramchandra (sic).”
He further shared that Maharashtra is currently facing a severe drought condition, and amid the current situation, helping the farmers remains their top priority. He added that they had discussed it with the film’s team, who expressed their willingness to help the farmers. Jaiswal further thanked all the social media influencers who had promoted the event. Ranbir, Sai, and Ravie Dubey were reportedly expected to attend the event.
With the event now postponed, it is not yet clear if the makers will release it online or plan another launch event. The team is yet to share an official update on the same.
Earlier on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the makers had released the first song titled, Jai Jai Ram, from the film.
