Odisha’s government has identified 120 unsafe buildings across 18 districts, including schools, hospitals, and government offices. Cuttack leads with 22 such structures. Local bodies are instructed to survey and propose demolition or reconstruction for these aging and fragile buildings, following a recent tragedy where a balcony collapse claimed lives.
