Air India Express has announced the launch of direct flights from Bengaluru to three new international destinations in the Middle East.
An official statement on Friday said that the Air India Express will operate direct flight from Bengaluru to Jeddah, Riyadh, and Kuwait starting later this month.
The statement said that the flights to Jeddah will begin on October 26, 2025, while services to Riyadh and Kuwait will start on October 27.
The additions strengthen the airline’s growing network between South India and the Middle East.
The airline is offering special inaugural fares, with Bengaluru-Riyadh tickets starting at Rs 13,500, Bengaluru-Kuwait from Rs 13,600, and Bengaluru-Jeddah from Rs 19,500, the official statement said.
Travellers on these route can book tickets via the airline’s website, app, and other major booking platforms, it said.
Each of the new routes will operate multiple times per week, the airline statement said.
It said that for Jeddah there will be three flights a week – Monday, Thursday, and Sunday, Riyadh: three flights a week – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and Kuwait: three flights a week – Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
“Return flights from these destinations to Bengaluru will operate on the following days, from Jeddah: Monday, Thursday, and Sunday, from Riyadh: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and from Kuwait: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday,” the statement said on Friday.
It said that the new connections are expected to benefit Indian expatriates, business travellers, and families visiting Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The Jeddah route will also provide easier access for Umrah pilgrims travelling from Bengaluru.
Passengers from other cities including Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kannur, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tiruchirappalli can also connect to these Middle East destinations via Bengaluru, the statement said.
It said that the move comes as part of Air India Express’ broader expansion from Bengaluru which now connects to 35 domestic and 7 international destinations, including the newly added Kathmandu, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, and upcoming services to Bangkok, Jodhpur, and Udaipur.
The airline said that it currently operates over 440 weekly flights from Bengaluru in Karnataka and is positioning the city as one of its fastest-growing hubs.
