Anupam Kher`s directorial debut, Tanvi The Great, has been receiving love and appreciation for its strong, moving story and for hailing debutant Shubhangi`s role. The film has been declared tax-free in the states of Delhi and Madhya Pradesh. The decision has been made by the respective state governments.
Tanvi-The Great is a powerful story of an autistic teenage girl who defies odds and dreams of joining the Indian Army. But it goes far beyond a conventional narrative. Kher’s directorial vision challenges how we see ability, discipline and emotional intelligence, while grounding the story in raw honesty and human triumph.
Delhi CM makes Tanvi- The Great tax-free

MP CM on making film tax-free

About the film
The film features debutant Shubhangi along with exceptional cast that includes Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Nassar, with Anupam Kher, and Iain Glen. The film also has two Oscar winners, the music director M.M. Keeravani and sound designer Resul Pookutty. The cinematographer of the film is Keiko Nakahara from Japan.
