He allegedly had an argument with his mother over going to tuition. Upset about attending the class, the boy walked out of the apartment and minutes later, he jumped from an upper floor, probably the 57th floor. A resident witnessed the fall and informed the mother immediately, following which emergency services rushed to the spot. The Kandivali police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and have found no signs of foul play so far. Meanwhile, a routine inquiry is ongoing.
The boy is believed to be the only child of a Gujarati actress, who is said to be divorced and living separately from her husband. Police are expected to speak to the boy’s mother, teachers, and others close to the family to understand the situation. Meanwhile, the police continue their investigation. Amid the reports, Resham Tipnis’ strong and early clarification has cleared the air.
