Banks led by Union Bank of India are seeking competing bids for the ₹729 crore debt of the Sahara Star Hotel, after JC Flowers ARC offered ₹279 crore. The lenders will initiate a Swiss Challenge auction with a minimum bid of ₹293 crore, aiming for an all-cash sale of the debt secured by the hotel.
