Barbie doll designers Mario Paglino and Gianni Grossi die in tragic car crash

In a very unfortunate incident, two stalwarts in the world of dolls have lost their lives. In a horrifying car crash reported in Italy, legendary designers Mario Paglino and Gianni Gross have lost their lives. Mario and Gianni are the two artists who designed the famous ‘Barbie Doll.’ 

The unfortunate incident that caused the casualty is said to be a head-on collision while they were travelling in Italy

The incident happened on Sunday when both the legendary designers were along with Amodio Valerio Giurni and his wife, Silvia Moramacro. The fatal collision happened when an elderly man aged around 82 years old crashed into them on the A4 Turin-Milan highway while coming from the wrong side. 

Soon after the head-on collision, Giurni died on the spot, whereas Moramacro was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Moreover, the 82-year-old man who rammed into the designers’ car, identified as Egidio Ceriano, has also been declared dead. 

Mourning through this tough time, Barbie paid condolences to both the legendary doll designers who lost their lives in the fatal car crash. The Barbie on Instagram asserted that “The Barbie team is heartbroken by the loss of Mario Paglino and Gianni Rossi, two treasured creators and Mattel collaborators who brought joy and artistry to the world of Barbie as Magia 2000.”

The Barbie on their Instagram post also appreciated the talent and the skill that both the legendary artists offered. Along with paying tributes to the artists, Barbie also went on to highlight the greatness with which these two have been serving the doll and the fashion industry.”

The post by Barbie further added that, “As passionate and talented designers and lifelong collectors, their spirit and love for the brand turned every creation they touched into a masterpiece. 

Barbie, on their social media handle, also added that, ”Beyond their remarkable talent, they shared an energy that lifted up every space they entered.” 

As per the reports, both Paglino and Grossi were to be travelling for a day at the lake just to get some time off from work. However, the crash took away two of the best in the industry.
