Mumbai’s BMC is launching an amnesty scheme to grant occupation certificates to older, occupied buildings lacking mandatory approval. The initiative, targeting structures built before November 2016 with minor deviations, offers a 50% concession on charges to resolve long-standing issues for residents and will be presented for approval soon.
