More than two crore students study in more than one lakh schools in the state. These students are provided quality and enjoyable education, keeping in mind the idea of the nation first. Various facilities are provided in schools through the government. Along with this, various industries also cooperate through their social responsibility funds (CSR). This should be coordinated, and this fund should be used keeping in mind the needs of schools and students, said the Minister of School Education, Dadaji Bhuse.
With their moral responsibility towards society, many industries support schools and students through their social responsibility funds. With the aim of harmonising these initiatives, School Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse interacted with the CSR heads of various industries in a meeting held at the office of the Maharashtra Primary Education Council on Wednesday.
Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Ranjit Singh Deol; State Project Director, Maharashtra Primary Education Council, Sanjay Yadav; Joint Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister (Finance and Planning), Dr Santosh Bhosale; and Deputy Secretary, School Education Department, Tushar Mahajan, along with CSR heads of various industries, were present on this occasion.
On the occasion, the minister further said that, “The state government is implementing various schemes and initiatives by considering the students as the centre. These include clean drinking water, clean toilets, good school buildings, laboratories, etc.”
“However, keeping in mind the needs of students and schools, more information is being made available on the Vidyanjali portal. In order to provide facilities to students, the industries should consider these needs and contribute to making them ideal citizens of the country,” the Minister of School Education, Dadaji Bhuse, appealed.
