Andhra Pradesh’s Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation is establishing a Slum Rehabilitation Authority to redevelop Velampeta and Indira Gandhi Nagar. These pilot projects will transform slums into high-rise apartments through public-private partnerships, offering free housing to beneficiaries and incentivizing developers with TDR and FSI benefits.
