Goa State Pollution Control Board has issued a show-cause notice to Prabhu Violetta Phase I residential complex in Vasco for discharging untreated sewage. The complex faces potential environmental compensation of Rs 44,50,000 and Rs 12,50,000 for violating pollution norms and operating without valid consent. The board ordered immediate cessation of discharge and daily sewage transport to a public facility.
