Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) fined Ajnara Homes Rs 50 lakh for a non-functional sewage treatment plant and discharging untreated sewage. The society also received a Rs 4 lakh penalty for poor solid waste management. Officials found the STP shut for two years, leading to sewage overflow and violations of NGT and pollution control board norms.
