Tere Ishk Mein box office update

On Monday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office update of the film, which features music by A.R. Rahman. The film crossed Rs 50 crore over the weekend and is expected to maintain its momentum. It earned Rs 15.57 crore on Day 2 and Rs 19.32 crore on Sunday, bringing the film’s total to ₹50.95 crore after its first weekend.

Adarsh wrote, “HALF-CENTURY… Tere Ishk Mein registers an impressive total in its opening weekend… The film has performed very well in urban centres, while mass circuits, too, have contributed majorly over the three days.

“With such a powerful start, half the battle is already won… The film now moves into the crucial weekday phase, and its Monday–Thursday trends will be watched closely.

“Going forward, Tere Ishk Mein will face a major challenger in Dhurandhar, which arrives this Friday… Its Weekend 2 performance will, therefore, carry immense significance.”

Tere Ishk Mein follows Shankar, an angry, hot-headed young man, and Mukti, a research scholar who believes violent men can be tamed. She chooses Shankar as the subject of her thesis to prove her theory.

Kriti Sanon on taxing climax of Tere Ishk Mein

Actress Kriti Sanon revealed that shooting the pre-climax and climax scenes was both physically and emotionally draining. Kriti said, “Mukti’s character has a very diverse graph — what she starts from, what she ends up becoming, her choices, her decisions… there are a lot of layers. A lot is sometimes not said in words.”

“There is no dialogue at times to help you, and it just has to be translated in your eyes. That was something new and I really enjoyed it.”

She added, “There are a lot of really intense scenes — the pre-climax and the climax — which are very, very long. That was draining, and we shot it over 5–6 days. Both physically and emotionally, those scenes were extremely taxing.”

Kriti also said she could feel the low energy on set and even in her vanity van. “At times when I went back home, it stayed with me. I felt extremely drained. That scene is the peak of emotions and probably the most intense moment in the film, and it pulled me down the most,” added the actress.
