Hyderabad authorities have reclaimed eleven acres of government land valued at one thousand six hundred fifty crore rupees. This action follows complaints of illegal occupation. Two acres in Kondapur designated for a public park and nine acres in Pragathi Nagar for a cremation ground and dumping yard were cleared. Fencing and signboards now mark these public spaces.
