Karnataka seeks relaxation in building height norms around Bengaluru airports: Deputy CM

Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has requested the central government to review and relax building height restrictions around Bengaluru’s aviation facilities. Citing impacts on urban development and real estate, the state seeks parity with cities like Hyderabad and Mumbai, where higher building limits are permitted. The Union Minister has indicated he will discuss the matter with the Defence Ministry.
