Survivors of the Mundakkai-Chooralmala landslide disaster have selected new homes. A draw was held for 178 families who lost their houses. Beneficiaries chose houses in a township project at Kalpetta. Title deeds were handed over. Many survivors expressed relief after living in rented accommodation for 18 months. The chief minister will formally hand over keys on February 25.
