To check illegal construction in New Noida, Noida Authority has appointed two lekhpals. They will monitor development across 80 villages and submit weekly reports. This move follows the Master Plan 2041 clearance. The plan envisions New Noida’s development in four phases. Land acquisition will be based on mutual consent with farmers. Discussions on compensation rates are ongoing.
