The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued weather alerts across Maharashtra, forecasting rainfall in several regions. The unseasonal rains that began in March have caused a notable shift in the state’s weather, with some areas experiencing hot, dry, or humid conditions, while others face thundershowers and hailstorms.

Mumbai is likely to see a partly cloudy sky over the next 24 hours, with chances of light rain or drizzle in the city and suburbs. Daytime temperatures are expected to hover around 31 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures may settle near 23 degrees Celsius, keeping conditions humid.
