The Maharashtra government has pledged to raise the monthly rent allowance for tenants of dilapidated cessed buildings in Mumbai to ₹30,000 during reconstruction. Additionally, the government will revoke NoCs for developers who haven’t initiated redevelopment projects under DCR 33(7).
