Weeks after an inquiry was ordered into a Rs 600-crore tender, the BMC has now floated a new tender to auction a prime 5,166sqm plot for commercial exploitation at a base price of Rs 455 crore. The highest bidder can construct residential or commercial towers, with the developer also required to provide office space for the BMC’s testing laboratory.
