Mumbai’s civic body has begun e-auction proceedings for six properties. These properties owe Rs 455.48 crore in property tax. Final notices have also been issued to two other defaulters. This action is part of a special drive against major tax defaulters. The civic body is attaching movable assets first, then immovable property if dues remain unrecovered.
