Pune Municipal Corporation fined a private developer Rs 10 lakh for dumping trash on a riverbed and ordered a probe into illegal waste disposal. The civic body plans to establish 10 guarded centers for scientific waste management and will file criminal offenses against those responsible for the dumping.
