Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka announced a model colony for the poor in Velugumatla, Khammam, to be an inspiration for other states. The government distributed house site pattas and sanctioned Indiramma houses to 412 families affected by encroachment demolitions, promising full basic amenities and completion by December 9th.
