Despite merging municipalities into three corporations, revenue from building approvals in Telangana’s Core Urban Region saw only a marginal increase. While the expanded region recorded ₹1,172 crore in 2025-26, this marks a significant decline from 2022-23. Most approvals now occur outside GHMC limits, with Cyberabad Municipal Corporation contributing the largest revenue share.
