A sleeper bus rammed into a stationary trailer truck carrying iron rods on the Jaipur-Delhi national highway in Rajasthan’s Kotpulti, leaving two persons dead and 16 others injured, police said on Thursday.
The accident occurred Wednesday night on a flyover near BDM Hospital. The impact was severe as iron rods loaded on the trailer truck pierced through the front cabin of the bus, causing injuries to the driver and some passengers.
The bus was travelling from Makrana to Haridwar with around 22 passengers when the accident took place.
