Revenue Minister K Rajan announced that the Elstone Estate township, housing 1,662 Mundakkai–Chooralmala disaster survivors in 410 homes, is slated for completion by December 2025. The government has allocated ₹108 crore for rehabilitation, including land acquisition, compensation, and livelihood support.
