On a meaningful Friday, Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, celebrated a deeply personal and symbolic day. It was not just International Labour Day and Maharashtra day today but also his 40th wedding anniversary with his wife, Priti Adani.
To mark the occasion, the couple visited the sacred Kedarnath Dham temple, where they offered prayers and sought blessings from Lord Mahadev.
A journey of love and support
In a heartfelt message shared on X, Gautam Adani reflected on his four-decade-long journey with his wife. He described Priti not just as his life partner, but as a steady source of strength in difficult times and a grounding force in moments of success.

“In this journey of four decades, Preeti`s companionship has been not just the support of my life, but a calm strength in every challenge and a humble foundation in every success; for this, I am deeply grateful to her from the bottom of my heart,” Adani stated in a post on X.
Adani expressed deep gratitude for her unwavering support and called her an essential part of his life’s journey. The visit to Kedarnath became a moment of reflection, gratitude and spiritual connection for both of them.
Prayers for the nation
During their visit, the couple prayed not only for their personal well-being but also for the country’s future. Adani shared that they sought blessings for India’s continued progress, prosperity and strength.
“We prayed to Mahadev that He may bestow upon our country continuous progress, prosperity, and strength, and inspire us all to contribute our very best to nation-building.”
A new initiative for employees
Alongside this personal milestone, Gautam Adani also announced a new initiative called “Apni Baat, Apno Ke Saath.”
Launched on the occasion of World Labour Day, the initiative aims to connect with over four lakh employees of the Adani Group. According to him, this is not just a formal communication effort, but a heartfelt attempt to build stronger bonds within the organisation.
Through this initiative, Adani plans to regularly share his thoughts, experiences, and learnings with employees. At the same time, he emphasised his willingness to learn from them as well.
He believes that when members of the Adani family come together with a shared purpose, they can go beyond building projects and contribute meaningfully to the vision of a developed India.
Adani concluded his message by acknowledging the trust and support of his employees, calling it his greatest strength. He highlighted the importance of unity, mutual support and collective effort in achieving both organisational and national goals.
