Ghaziabad: GDA sanctions ₹100 crore for cranes with 100 meter reach after Indirapuram fire

Following a recent fire incident, Ghaziabad authorities are investing Rs 100 crore in two new 102-meter hydraulic platforms to combat fires in the city’s rapidly growing high-rise buildings. This move addresses the inadequacy of current firefighting equipment, which can only reach 42 meters, as height restrictions for many building types have been removed, paving the way for further vertical expansion.
