The Union Coal Minister announced the Centre’s readiness to co-fund the Hyderabad Metro’s second phase on a 50:50 basis. Union Minister Manohar Lal assured positive consideration pending the Detailed Project Report. Additionally, the Centre has sanctioned 39 sewage treatment plants for the Musi River at Rs 3,975 crore under the AMRUT scheme.
