Women kicking butt on screen never gets old. So when Alia Bhatt says Alpha was “one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had on a film set”, we’re inclined to believe her. The actor says, “There was something really exciting about stepping into this world of action, scale, and adventure. It pushed me in ways I hadn’t experienced before, and I loved every bit of it.” What she loved most was that “at the heart of it were two women leading all the action.” Adding that such opportunities are rare, she says, “We don’t get to see that very often. Alpha is a celebration of attitude and a celebration at the movies.” Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Shiv Rawail of The Railway Men fame, Alpha also stars Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, with Hrithik Roshan in an extended cameo.

Hansal Mehta and Ranveer Singh
While the Don 3 chatter has finally died down, Ranveer Singh seems busy with Pralay. The actor, sporting a mask, was spotted leaving filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s office late on Tuesday night. Naturally, the sighting sent rumour mills into overdrive about their much-discussed project. Ranveer kept mum and headed straight to his car after exiting Hansal’s Bandra office. With fan curiosity already at fever pitch, an official announcement may not be too far away.
