Actor Salman Khan has reportedly stepped in to help his longtime body double Parvez Kazi after the latter recently fell unwell. Parvez fell ill amid the ongoing shoot of his upcoming film with Nayanthara and director Vamshi Paidipally, reportedly titled Monster. On August 6, Kazi was at home when he began feeling unwell. He later underwent a minor surgery. After Salman learnt about the same, he is now personally taking charge of the situation and ensuring that Kazi’s treatment is taken care of.

Speaking to India Today, Kazi’s manager Piyush clarified that Parvez did not suffer a heart attack, refuting earlier reports. He added that he is now recovering well, sharing that Kazi initially felt unwell at home and went for a medical check-up. Following a series of tests, he was admitted to the hospital, where he underwent a minor heart surgery.
The manager also revealed how Salman immediately stepped in after learning about Kazi’s condition and even handled everything, including his treatment. He shared that Salman was “right there with us” and made sure that Kazi received the necessary medical care. He added that Parvez is extremely grateful to the actor for taking care of everything amid his health scare.
Piyush said, “Salman sir treats Parvez sir like a younger brother and helped immediately,” further sharing that Kazi is now “absolutely fine” and has been advised a few days of rest before returning to work. Piyush also said that Parvez is now recovering well and is expected to be back on set soon.
Salman to do his own stunts?
Initially, reports suggested that Parvez had suffered a heart attack on the set. The situation had also led to reports that Salman would perform a larger share of the action himself while Kazi recovered. Additionally, the film’s stunt schedule has reportedly been reorganised, with safety measures being put in place for the star to shoot smoothly.
However, as Kazi’s manager has confirmed that he is doing well, the India Today report adds that he is expected to return to the sets soon after his recovery.
