Looks like 2027 will be the year when Salman Khan unleashes his superhero energy. Word is that the actor’s superhero movie with Raj and DK, which marks his maiden collaboration with the director duo, will go on floors in January.
A source close to the development told mid-day, “Raj and DK are occupied with Farzi 2. The final schedule of the Shahid Kapoor-led series started this week. After they wrap it, the team will immediately get into the pre-production of the Salman film. The groundwork will begin towards October-end.”
With November and December dedicated to pre-production, Raj and DK will take their place behind the camera in January 2027 to give shape to their ambitious project — a superhero action entertainer in which Khan will reportedly play a weary crime-fighter who wants to retire.
The timeline aligns with the packed date diary of Khan, who is currently shooting director Vamshi Paidipally’s action film, the working title of which is SVC63. The source added, “Another 50 days of shooting is left on it. Salman will juggle SVC63 and Bigg Boss 20, before he starts preparing for the superhero flick by the year-end.”
A Gentleman
The film will mark Raj and DK’s return to the theatres after a decade. Their last big-screen outing as directors was ‘A Gentleman’ (2017)
