Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited action entertainer King is reportedly set to feature a cameo appearance by Kareena Kapoor Khan. Pinkvilla reports that the actress will reunite with SRK for a special song titled ‘Daddy Cool,’ which is reportedly being executed as one of the prominent highlights of the film. However, the development has not yet been officially confirmed by the makers.
Kareena Kapoor to make a special appearance in King
Reports claim that Kareena is expected to shoot the song with Shah Rukh Khan in South Africa. The team is planning an approximately five-day schedule later this month. The track will reportedly showcase Shah Rukh Khan in a completely different avatar alongside Kareena and is being planned on a large scale. The song is composed by Sachin-Jigar, with reports stating that an Indian and a global artist will also be a part of it, though their names are currently not yet disclosed.
Kareena Kapoor’s appearance in King would mark her special on-screen reunion with Shah Rukh Khan, as they have previously collaborated in films including Asoka, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Ra.One. Rather than hinting at a full-fledged role for Kareena in King, the current report specifically indicates her appearance in the special song, making “Daddy Cool” a significant attraction for the film.
Meanwhile, excitement around King continues to rise, with the report also indicating that the makers are prepping to reveal a new detail from the film around Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on November 2. Also, the reported Kareena-Shah Rukh reunion adds another talking point, making King one of the most-anticipated projects of the year.
