The newly released images shared by Tony Ward Couture show the actress posing against the picturesque French Riviera in their breathtaking custom creation, an ivory gown. While Aishwarya was earlier spotted by fans posing in the ensemble during Cannes, the official images have now made their way online, months later.
Sharing details of the outfit, the designer shared that it was made using more than 7,000 pearls and 40 meters of silk taffeta. The gown, which featured intricate handwork, took over 600 hours to be made. The striking ensemble included a shimmering, pearl-encrusted gown complemented with a dramatic white taffeta cape adorned with oversized ruffles. The actress completed the look with soft waves and minimal jewellery.
Sharing the photos on social media, the fashion label hailed Aishwarya as the “Queen of Cannes” and revealed, “Over 600 hours of craftsmanship, more than 7,000 pearls and nearly 40 meters of silk taffeta come together in a creation where intricate handwork meets sculptural volume.”

Styled by Mohit Rai, Aishwarya embraced a variety of high-fashion looks at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. Her wardrobe included an electric-blue Amit Aggarwal gown featuring an oceanic, fishtail silhouette and signature ‘Crystal Vein’ embroidery that took over 1,500 hours to complete. Her second look was a romantic blush Sophie Couture outfit, as well as a crisp white Cheney Chan tuxedo-inspired pant-suit look paired with a feathered cape.
Her last look was a Rai Bachchan, who wore a custom beige embellished gown by designer Fjolla Nila. The gown has scalloped crystal embellishment over a beige base, creating a layered, jewel-like effect through the bodice and skirt. She also carried a flowing feather cape wrapped around the shoulders and trailing along the side.
