The makers of Ananya Panday and Lakshya-starrer Chand Mera Dil released the trailer of the film on May 11, offering a glimpse into a modern love story driven by heartbreak, toxicity, forgiveness and separation. The film is directed by Vivek Soni and centres on the relationship between Chandni, played by Ananya and Aarav, played by Lakshya.

The trailer of Chand Mera Dil shows Chandni and Aarav`s bond as intense and troubled, with the visuals in the video suggesting a relationship that is both emotionally charged and difficult. The trailer opens with Aarav desperately apologising to Chandni as she pushes him away, hinting at a conflict that further unfolds.
As the two-minute, 54-second video moves forward, it shows flashbacks of a romance between the lead characters. In one of the scenes, Aarav turns extremely aggressive before seeking forgiveness from Chandni. At one point, Aarav`s sister is also seen telling him that she, too, wouldn`t forgive him if he weren`t her brother. A voiceover highlights how deeply Chandni loves Aarav despite being upset with him. However, Chandni later says, “Self-respect is more important for me,” over a phone call.
The trailer then continues to show more peeks into their intense relationship, before ending with Aarav telling Chandni, “You are really like the moon, a divine light, arrogant and distant.” The trailer positions Chand Mera Dil as a love story centred around emotional conflict, longing and distance between the main leads.

Chand Mera Dil is produced by Dharma Productions, with Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Marijke Desouza serving as co-producers. The film`s director, Vivek Soni, has also contributed to the story and screenplay of the film alongside Tushar Paranjape. The duo has also written the dialogues of the romantic drama with Akshat Ghildial.
Earlier, the film`s teaser was unveiled on April 7, 2026, with the soundtrack that features the title track Chand Mera Dil, composed by Sachin-Jigar, and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The song is sung by Faheem Abdullah.
Chand Mera Dil is set for a theatrical release on May 22, 2026, marking the first time Ananya and Lakshya will be seen sharing screen.
