Chhattisgarh’s cabinet has approved a significant 50 percent reduction in land registration charges for properties registered in women’s names. This move aims to boost property ownership and economic empowerment for women. Additionally, defence personnel, ex-servicemen, and their widows will receive a 25 percent stamp duty concession on property purchases up to Rs 25 lakh.
