More about Eetha

Eetha tells the story of legendary Maharashtrian Tamasha and Lavani artist Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar. It will capture her remarkable journey from the 1940s to the 1990s. The film showcases how she rose to prominence while also portraying the challenges and hardships she encountered throughout her life. The movie will be helmed by Laxman Utekar, the Chhaava-fame director. It will feature Randeep Hooda and Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub. The release date has been locked for August 28, which coincides with the festival of Raksha Bandhan.

The film was shot across several locations, including Madh Island in Mumbai, Solapur, Aundhewadi, Satara, Nashik, and Bhor. During the shoot, Shraddha fractured her left foot while filming an important Lavani sequence. After recovering, she resumed shooting in January and filmed a massive Lavani sequence with over 800 background artistes, choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant.

Shraddha’s last big-screen outing was Stree 2 with Rajkummar Rao. With this film, she is set to prove why she continues to be one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood.
