However, a social media user later disputed the claims, alleging that Rajpal eventually received VIP darshan.
Did Rajpal Yadav skip VIP queue at Lalbaugcha Raja?
Videos from Rajpal Yadav’s visit to Lalbaugcha Raja have surfaced online, showing the actor waiting in the public queue with other devotees for Charan Sparsh Darshan of Lord Ganesha. He was seen chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya” as he waited for his turn.
As Rajpal moved closer to the idol, the women guards recognised him and smiled. Fans also approached the actor for selfies, which he happily obliged before proceeding for darshan and leaving the pandal. The actor’s video from the popular Ganpati pandal has received attention online, with several netizens praising him for standing in the public queue. One user commented, “Bhai VIP ho to iske jaise,” while another wrote, “Real Hero.”
However, a visitor clarified on X that the claims are false and the actor got access to VIP darshan. One X post read, “Today he visited Lalbaugcha Raja, and the paps immediately started selling the story that he had skipped the VIP line and stood in the normal public queue. But the truth came out soon enough. He ended up getting charan darshan, the VIP treatment, and even posed for selfies with devotees and volunteers. Public line for the cameras, VIP darshan for himself.”
To note, before Rajpal, Kartik Aaryan was seen visiting the Ganpati pandal to seek blessings after his National Award win. Apart from them, actors like Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, Shah Rukh Khan and many others were also seen at Lalbaugcha Raja.

Yadav reportedly took a loan of around Rs 5 crore from a Delhi-based company to make his first film as a director, Ata Pata Laapata, back in 2010. The movie did not perform well at the box office, failing to earn enough money to cover the costs. As a result, Yadav faced difficulty in paying back the loan. He recently received temporary relief from the Supreme Court after he was granted two weeks to deposit the defaulted amount.
